- Grenoble have won all four of their home games against Italian opposition, those wins coming by an average margin of 46 points.
- Benetton have won just one of their last 33 away games in Europe across both the Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup.
- Grenoble are one of just three sides yet to be shown a card this season (also Clermont and Worcester).
- Only Bordeaux-Begles’ Cameron Woki has stolen more lineouts than either Benetton’s Dean Budd or Grenoble’s Clement Ancely.

Benetton Rugby face an anxious wait to see if they will progress from the group stage in the European Rugby Challenge Cup after their 39-7 success at Grenoble left the Italian side second in Pool 5 with 20 points.
Benetton blew the hosts away with three tries from Tomax Baravalle, Ratuva Tavuyara and Monty Ioane in the first half, all of which converted by Italian fly-half Tommy Allan.
Allan also added two penalties in the opening period but Grenoble did hit back towards the end of the half through Etienne Dussartre, who scored the French club’s only try of the match. The centre’s score was converted by Corentin Glenat.
Sebastian Negri secured the try-scoring bonus point for the Italians – with his effort converted by Allan – and the Italians had time for one more score, with Tavuyara going over for his second of the evening.
