James Hook will cement his name as rugby’s new Mr Versatility by playing in his FIFTH different position of the season.

Hook is in line to provide scrum-half cover for the Ospreys in the Heineken Cup at Viadana.

Long-term injuries had already ruled out British Lion Mike Phillips, Jamie Nutbrown, Tom Isaacs as well as part-time number nine Shane Williams.

That forced the Welsh region to snap up South African World Cup winner Ricky Januarie on a three-month loan, leaving Hook as his deputy for the must-win trip to Italy.
