Gloucester Rugby will aim to take top spot in European Rugby Challenge Cup Pool 3 on Saturday as they face Zebre Rugby Club at Kingsholm Stadium. Gloucester have won all five of their previous fixtures with Zebre, however the Guinness PRO14 side have claimed a losing bonus point in each of the last two meetings between the clubs.
· Gloucester have won each of their six games when hosting Italian opposition, never conceding more than 10 points in any of those games and winning by an average margin of 47 points.
· Zebre have lost on two of their three trips to England, although they won their most recent game away to Aviva Premiership opposition, beating Worcester in Round 5, 2015/16.
· Zebre (27) are one of just two teams to have kicked from hand less often than Gloucester (43) this season (also Lyon – 32).

Gloucester Rugby raced in a stunning 11 tries in an emphatic 69-12 victory over Zebre Rugby Club at Kingsholm on Saturday afternoon to keep their hopes of reaching the European Rugby Challenge Cup knockout stages alive.
- Winger Ollie Thorley produced a sensational four tries, adding to his brace against the same opposition last weekend, while fellow flyer David Halaifonua crossed the whitewash twice, with Freddie Clarke, Will Safe, Charlie Sharples, Cameron Orr and Motu Matu'u also gracing the scoresheet in an impressive Gloucester Rugby rout.
- Halaifonua broke the deadlock on eight minutes and Thorley raced home from the opposite wing moments later as Gloucester Rugby made a flying start.
- Tongan international Halaifonua had completed his brace of tries by 16 minutes and the hosts continued to run riot in front a partisan Kingsholm crowd, with No 8 Clarke, flanker Safe, full-back Sharples and Prop Orr all crossing before the interval as the hosts amassed a 45-0 lead.
- Thorley slid in twice within 16 minutes of the restart, with Matu'u's try intersecting the scores, before Zebre Rugby Club fly-half Serafin Bordoli gave travelling fan a late reason to cheer with a first try for the visitors.
- Gloucester Rugby winger Thorley had not finished through as he claimed a fourth try with four minutes to play, but a spirited Zebre Rugby Club had the final say as Valerio Bernabo crossed in overtime, but it was not enough to prevent the hosts from moving within three points of Pool 3 leaders Pau.
