The postponement of the Leeds Tykes-Calvisano match at the weekend has left Pool 2 undecided.
Tykes fans would have been confident of four or five points from their trip to Italy, but they now have to wait.
The Blues must beat the Tykes in Leeds and hope other Pool results go their way.
The Blues make one change to the side that lost to Perpignan last Saturday.
Chris Czekaj comes in on the wing in place of Craig Morgan.
Blues coach Dai Young said: “We’ve been keeping an eye on Leeds since we played them in the first round. They have a lot of good players and it was only a question of time before they improved,” said Young.
“We think we can step up again in our level of performance against Leeds. I don’t think they are as strong as Perpignan, but we know they are going to be a very difficult and different proposition on their own patch.
“There is still plenty for us to play for. It was a very disappointed dressing room after the game against Perpignan.
“I’m not going to make any excuses for what happened – we were just beaten by the better team on the day. They completely frustrated us.”

They must now wait until the outcome of Bath v Leinster to fins out if they will make the knockout phase as one of the Best Runners Up.
With Justin Marshall pulling the strings the home side secured the bonus point by the break. Four tries in the first forty minutes meant they went into the break leading 24-3
They continued in the same dominant vein in the second period and got their fifth try and crucial try when the Cardiff scrum buckled three times in front of their own tryline. The referee had no option but to point to the posts and award the five points.
