Pool 6 leaders Biarritz Olympique are the only side in the competition who have taken maximum points from all four Pool matches.
After a 27-17 home win against Borders in Round 4, they now take on an Overmach Parma side, yet to register a point in the competition.
Overmach, who lost out 36-0 to Northampton in Round 4, are still to find that elusive first win in the Heineken Cup and will be hard pressed to get it against last year’s finalists Biarritz – unbeaten at the Parc de Sports Aguilera since 2001.
When the sides met in October, Biarritz registered a 50-7 victory at Sergio Lanfranchi.
Heineken Cup favourites Biarritz made it 25 points from a possible 25 with a seven-try 45-3 demolition of Overmach Parma at their Parc des Sports Aquiléra on Friday night.
In the past four seasons, only Leinster (twice) have won all six Pool games, but Biarritz are red-hot favourites to repeat the impressive feat at struggling Northampton Saints next weekend. Biarritz fans may be wishing for a loss, however – no team have ever won all six Pool games and gone on to hold the trophy.
Centre Marcelo Bosch claimed a brace of tries and scrum-half Julien Dupuy kicked five conversions on Friday night, while there were also tries for Petru Balan, Benjamin Noirot, Serge Betsen, Martin Gaitan and Philippe Bidabe.
Parma’s solitary reply came with a penalty goal from Alejandro Canale to make the score 7-3, but it was one-way traffic after that.
