· Oyonnax have lost each of their last four games against Aviva Premiership opposition in this competition, failing to score more than 15 points in any of those games.
· Worcester have won 20 turnovers after two rounds, more than any other side, while Oyonnax have won the fewest so far (6).
· Worcester hooker Joe Taufete'e is the joint top try scorer in the Challenge Cup this season, despite playing just 64 minutes in total.
Worcester Warriors charged to the Pool 5 summit in the European Rugby Challenge Cup on Saturday with a thrilling 35-14 triumph over Oyonnax at Sixways.
- Winger Tom Howe collected a brace of tries, while replacement scrum-half Luke Baldwin and No 8 David Denton also crossed in as Worcester Warriors picked up a bonus-point victory to move two points clear of Connacht Rugby, who face Brive in the final Pool 5 Round 3 fixture later on Saturday.
- It was Oyonnax who seized an early initiative, though, as New Zealand-born hooker Hika Elliot crashed over to score the visitors' lone try of the match in the sixth minute.
- Two penalties apiece for Oyonnax fly-half Christopher Ruiz and Worcester Warriors No 10 Sam Olver brought the scoreline to 11-6 on half an hour, before Howe came to the fore.
- Howe raced in his first score of the match on 34 minutes and Olver's conversion gave the hosts a slender 13-11 lead at the interval.
- Ruiz nudged Oyonnax back in front with a penalty early in the second half, but when Howe doubled his tally on the hour mark, momentum swung well in favour of Worcester Warriors.
- Scrum-half Baldwin checked in first and then Denton followed soon after as Worcester bolstered their claims for a place in the knockout stages of the European Rugby Challenge Cup.
