Benetton Treviso are playing for pride. They were hammered by 55-0 by Wasps last weekend, conceding nine tries in the process.
They will not want a humbling like that in front of their home fans this week.
But they could be in trouble as they face a London Wasps team who have something to prove.
Since their 2004/5 Heineken Cup triumph, they have failed to qualify from the Pool Stage. They have a great chance this season as they lead the Pool by a point from Castres at the half way stage.
However, they need to win with a bonus point this week to ensure they keep their noses in front as they have to play Perpignan and Castres in their remaining matches this season.
Wasps rattled up a record win over Benetton Treviso to return to the top of Pool One.
England wing Paul Sackey scored a first half hat-trick as Wasps scored a club record 11 tries and take a one-point lead in the group over Perpignan.
Mark van Gisbergen weighed in with a 21-point haul including a second half try as Ian McGeechan’s side strolled through to their first away win in Europe for two years.
Wasps had lost their last six games away from home on the continent yet rarely needed to shift out of third gear against the Italian champions.
Director of rugby Ian McGeechan said: “It was very important that we won this game and won well. In the last few seasons we have shot ourselves in the foot away from home so it was good to get that out of our system.”
Alex King got the rout under way inside two minutes but Wasps wobbled when Treviso hit back through Massimiliano Perziano minutes later and Tim Payne was sin binned for stamping.
But Sackey steadied his side with a stunning 12-minute hat-trick to secure the bonus point before half-time.
Lawrence Dallaglio completed his return with a try before Eoin Reddan, Josh Lewsey, James Haskell, Daniel Cipriani and Nick Adams went over in the second half.
