The Scarlets aim to rescue their European reputation with a home tie against French side Brive at Parc y Scarlets.

The cash-strapped Welsh region have won only one of their last 13 European ties – a stunning home victory over Stade Francais last season.

Brive captain Alix Popham will return to Llanelli where he made his name and hope to impress Wales boss Warren Gatland.

Both sides will have to recover after high-scoring defeats last weekend, the Scarlets at Ulster and Brive in Paris.
