London Irish’s impressive start to their Heineken Cup campaign continued as they maintain their excellent 100% start with a win over pool favourites Perpignan at the Madjeski Stadium on Sunday.

The Exiles made it three wins out of three with a 24-16 win to back up successive bonus-point wins against Benetton Treviso and Newport Gwent Dragons.

But the 2003 runners-up Perpignan won’t lie down easily and will want to extend their 10-match winning home run in the competition.

The French outfit haven’t lost at the Stade Aime Giral since reigning champions London Wasps stunned them 34-6 back in 2004.
