The Gallagher Premiership side have won three of their last four away games in the knockout stages of the competition.

The game will see Bath and Edinburgh face off for the first time in the Challenge Cup – although they have met five times in the Heineken Champions Cup, with Bath winning the first four encounters and Edinburgh winning the most recent one, 9-6 in December 2009.

Edinburgh qualified for the knockout stages by finishing top of EPCR Challenge Cup Pool C, winning three of their four matches, while Bath were second from bottom in Heineken Champions Cup Pool A.
